Apple has unveiled the most anticipated iPhone 16 with AI features with a starting price of Ksh102,959.
At its latest product event in Cupertino, California, Apple emphasized artificial intelligence (AI) as a central theme, pitching the new iPhone 16.

According to Apple during its launch event dubbed ‘Glowtime’, the device was built around its “Apple Intelligence” features.
This new AI system includes capabilities like generating and editing text to suit specific tones and using the device’s camera to recognize real-world objects.
The 16 series will include four models: the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

iPhone 16 Apple Intelligence
The iPhone 16 has been touted as the first model designed “from the ground up” for AI from Apple.
The iPhone 16 can perform tasks such as photo editing, custom emoji creation based on prompts, and enhanced searches via Siri using descriptions or voice commands.

The event, tagged “It’s Glowtime,” showcased Apple’s push to integrate AI into its products, as detailed in high-production videos featuring CEO Tim Cook and other executives.
In addition, the AI features on the iPhone 16 will be available as a free software update for US English users next month.

The new iPhone 16 also introduces a customizable “action button,” a first of its kind in the history of iPhones.
The device will sport a more resilient display, and the A18 chip for better processing performance.

Apple Watch 10
Apple revealed a redesigned Apple Watch with a larger screen, faster charging, and enhanced health features.
Apart from the Apple Watch 10, Apple also premiered the new AirPods Pro 2 which can function as a hearing aid for mild to moderate hearing loss.

Apple’s fall product launch is a critical event for the company, setting the stage for the holiday shopping season.
The event followed prior announcements at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), including a partnership with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT with Siri.
