Doctors give the ‘OK’ for Maigo’s main murder suspect to stand trial

The plot continues to thicken in the Murder case of Nairobi Hospital Ag Finance director DR Erick Maigo .

New revelations emerging that the main suspect who was believed to a juvenile is actually an adult.

After a thorough mental and age assessment tests at Nairobi’s Mathare National Hospital doctor have concluded that Ann Adhiambo the key suspect in the Maigo murder case is of sound mind.

It has been established that she is fit to be tried as an adult after her age was reveled to be above 18 years-old an adult as par Kenyan law.

This is in contrast to earlier reports that Adhiambo was 16 years old.

Her parents have now stated that she was born in 2003 which puts her at about 20 years old.

The woman became center of attraction after police released CCTV footage screengrabs showing her jumping over the fence at the place and fateful day Dr Maigo lost his life .

The finance director’s lifeless body was found with 25 stab wounds in Kilimani area.

Police officers who arrived at the scene recovered the main murder weapon which was entered into evidence.

An officer in the investigating team has revealed that a report will be presented in court on the October 18 2023.

Anne was first arrested on September 26 2023 in Olympic KIbera after a week long run from detectives.

She was then presented to court a day later with police granted 21 day to carry out investigations.

On the lapse of 21 days on the 28th this month she is set to face charges for the murder of the Nairobi Hospital Finance Director.

37 year old Maigo was laid to rest on September 29 at his rural home in Keumbu Kisii county.
