A donkey in Ol Kalou amazed villagers after it carried its drunk owner home without being steered.

The Donkey was spotted pulling a cart by drivers late in the night ferrying its inebriated owner boarded on the cart.

The owner was seemingly not himself after a drinking spree at his local tavern.

Video of the Donkey

DJ Junior originally uploaded the video of the donley ferrying his owner on TikTok showcasing the wonder.

The avid content creator was driving in Ol Kalou in Mugumo when he spotted the Donkey and its owner.

From the video, the owner is seen not himself and drooling over his jacket while on his cart.

It is also evident that the owner is seemingly unbothered by the events of what is taking place as he enjoys his ride home.

DJ Junior is keen to highlight that the traffic caused by the donkey is not significant as the road is in a rural area.

Caution over festive drinking

With Christmas around the corner, DJ Junior highlighted the importance of having a plan after indulging.

“Ukikunywa pombe ukuwe umepanga venye ambavyo utaenda nyumbani” (If you’re planning on getting drunk, you should have aplan on how you are getting back home) DJ Junior said.

“Sasa huyu mzee amekunywa vitu zake, hana ubaya na mtu, na akona punda ambeye inajua kwake” (The man here was out for a good time, he is not making any trouble and he has his donkey to take him home).

Video Views

During the festive season, drivers are often cautioned to take care while on the road and to not drink and drive.

The video has gathered over 300k views on TikTok with over 50k views on subsequent social media platforms.

With the video going viral, it has gathered an array of reactions from fans on TikTok.

One user by the name of Elly M Gichu stated “If being royal was an animal”

“Well, at least he’s not driving while drunk😅😅” stated DeeMantara Emdee.
