“Don’t move!” Self-proclaimed prophet warns Napoli’s Osimhen against Chelsea move

Controversial Nigerian Self-Proclaimed Prophet Primate Ayodele Warns Victor Osimhen Against Joining Chelsea

In a video posted on social media, controversial Nigerian self-proclaimed prophet Primate Ayodele has issued a stern warning to Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, advising him to avoid a potential move to Chelsea as he explores options to leave Napoli.

Ayodele alleges that if Osimhen transfers to Chelsea, it would be detrimental to his career. He stated, “I want to advise Osimhen directly: he should not go to Chelsea because if he does, he will not shine, and it will kill his career.”

The prophet went further to address the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), saying, “NFF, if Osimhen goes to Chelsea, don’t call him up again.

His inclusion in the Super Eagles squad should be carefully reconsidered because we have what it takes to succeed in the World Cup and Nations Cup.”

Osimhen’s departure from Napoli has been anticipated for some time, with many expecting him to make a significant move in the summer of 2023 after playing a pivotal role in helping the club secure the Italian Serie A title.

However, instead of transferring, Osimhen signed a new contract with Napoli, which included an improved salary and a release clause set at £113 million, along with a gentleman’s agreement allowing him to leave in 2024.

Despite the anticipation, a move away this summer is proving difficult due to an underwhelming season and the high costs associated with the transfer, including fees and wages.

According to The Athletic, Chelsea is currently the only club still in contention for the former Lille striker after Paris Saint-Germain cooled their interest due to failed negotiations with Napoli.

The London club has reportedly offered a loan deal with an option to buy, but Osimhen is unwilling to accept any loan without a mandatory purchase clause.
