Wife to deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, pastor Dorcas Rigathi launched a two-day medical camp in Kisii County on Tuesday January 23, 2023.
The event that took place at Kisii Primary School is set to target the boy child, drug addicts in the matatu sector and those battling with alcohol addiction.
Dorcas noted that many people have been affected by the use of drugs including bhang which affect their daily activities.
She urged drivers to avoid alcohol consumption completely as this was risking peoples lives by driving while drunk.
However, she recognized them as important people in the society and need to be respected because of their crucial work.
“Drivers, conductors and the others in the sector should also be respected as part of the economic drivers of this nation. Many of us entrust our lives to people, yet we rarely respect their work. I will walk with you as a mother,” she said.
