“She stands up to bullies, just like my parents taught me to,” Emhoff told the audience in Chicago.
He described Harris as someone who genuinely cares about others, celebrating their successes while standing firmly against unfairness.

Emhoff, who married Harris a decade ago, noted that their upcoming anniversary would coincide with her formal acceptance of the Democratic Party’s nomination for president.
