Embattled Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua took a break from his political troubles to enjoy a dance. He was seen dancing to the popular song “Set It” with Japanese influencer Koki Nakaya.
In the video, Gachagua looked happy as he tried to copy Koki’s dance moves. He wore a casual shirt, a blue jacket, and black pants. The crowd cheered him on as he danced at a Japanese restaurant in Muthaiga shopping mall. Koki, known for his African dance and comedy content, challenged Gachagua to join him.
Gachagua’s cheerful moment comes amid serious issues. His position as Deputy President is at risk after the National Assembly voted to impeach him. He faces 11 charges, including violating the Constitution and promoting ethnic division.
Despite the impeachment process, Gachagua continues to make public appearances. On Sunday, October 13, he attended a church service at the ACK Diocese in Embu, which celebrated 34 years since the diocese was established. Some leaders who support him were also present.
