Strategic and Political communications Consultant Dr. Barrack Muluka is claiming that a restless spirit has taken hold of Raila Odinga.
On a weekend political roundup show; To The Point with Linda Alela, Dr. Barrack Muluka stated that former premier Raila Odinga was under a mystical force.
Additionally Dr. Muluka highlights this as one of the reasons that could create more clarity as to the political pact Mr Odinga made with Kenya’s President William Ruto.
Over the weekend, President Ruto and former premier Odinga signed a working pact between their respective parties on the basis of what President Ruto termed as the broad based government a couple of months ago.
The event which took place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre witnessed massive attendees from the general public as well as outrage online.
According to a notable section online, Odinga signing a 10 point pact with President Ruto felt like a betrayal to the general populace which has been critical of Ruto’s government.

Mr. Raila Odinga is used to environments where his word is law
Dr. Muluka took a jab at former premier Odinga for not listening to advice and keeping people around him on the basis of fear.
“He (Odinga) is getting to a point where he is running out of luck, you can deceive some people all the time… but you cannot deceive all the people all the time”Dr. Muluka stated.
During the discussion with Former MP for Mwingi Central, Joe Mutambu, Dr. Muluka expounded on a previous thought from Mr. Mutambu, that former Premier Odinga was a spirit with unclear intentions.
“It is a restless spirit, a spirit of the lake.This spirit for the Luo and Lake Basin viewers who are watching, is called Nyawawa.” Dr. Muluka said.
He went on to share insight on the lake spirit stating that “It is a very dangerous and deadly spirit and when it occupies you, in the long run it destroys you.” he said.
According to Dr. Muluka, ”The Nyawawa spirit finds residence in certain individuals and for a while they can mesmerize society, then the moment comes when the spirit must destroy you.”

Ruto in the 2027 Kenyan general election
While explaining the 2027 game plan to Linda Alela on To The Point, Former MP for Mwingi Central, Joe Mutambu highlighted that Mr. Odinga had very few cards to play.
In a move to seemingly throw water at the Ruto Raila pact, according to Mutambu, the “Political marriage” will soon be on the deathbed come 2027.
Former MP Joe Mutambu broke down the Ruto Raila alliance as a pact to address political tensions but keeping in mind that the general elections dynamics might be different.
However, Mutambu stated that even though former premier Odinga had a fanatical political following, due to his pact with President Ruto, they too were reconsidering their support for him.
