Pastor Edward Maghanga died under unclear circumstances and was hurriedly buried at Vindo village. His wife said that it was his husband’s wish to be interred immediately after his death.
But back in Mwakitau, Mwatate Constituency, Taita Taveta County, the extended family of Maghanga could not fathom why their kin was hurriedly buried, sensing mischief.
Led by the deceased’s mother, Hannah Maghanga, the extended family sought legal redress in courts.
The family now cries foul as the day the court was supposed to make a ruling on the matter, the said ruling was made virtually (online), to the dismay of the relatives who had already taken their seats at the court room.
