Drama as three drug traffickers evade police arrest, leave behind 8 sacks of bhang

Officers from Rodi Police Station in Homa Bay County are on an intense manhunt for drug traffickers who narrowly escaped arrest.

The suspect abandoned eight sacks of Cannabis Sativa during the operation. The officers were acting on a tip-off from locals who had noticed a suspicious black car parked at a homestead.

The police rushed to the scene, but as soon as they arrived, the vehicle sped off towards Homa Bay town. In a dramatic chase, three men also fled by jumping over a fence, evading capture.

Upon searching the house, the police discovered eight large sacks filled with cannabis. Alongside the narcotics, they found a motor vehicle registration plate, KDN 374Z, which had likely been removed from the fleeing car.

The seized drugs were taken to Homa Bay Police Station, where they are being kept as exhibits.
