Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives are probing the mysterious death of a man bearing stab wounds in Eastleigh, Nairobi County.
Residents reportedly found the body along Third Avenue on Wednesday night, bearing stab wounds.
Police say the man bore stab wounds in the head and back. They believe he was murdered at the scene but are yet to establish motive of the murder.
His body was transferred to City mortuary pending postmortem and identification as detectives kick off investigations.
Elsewhere in Siaya County, the lifeless body of 28-year-old man was found in his house in Hulwik Village, Ugenya sub-County.
The deceased, whose body was retrieved in the living room on Wednesday evening, was working as a herdsman in the village.
Siaya County Police Commander Cleti Kimaiyo stated that the body did not have any visible wounds which could point to a murder.
Preliminary investigations have since revealed the man was sickly and under medication.
The body was moved to a nearby mortuary pending postmortem and identification.
