Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha has promised parents that the school program will not be disrupted incase of a prolonged electioneering period. This comes after he postponed the reopening of schools twice.
Speaking on Wednesday after commissioning Phase 2 Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) classrooms in Embakasi, Prof. Magoha stated that all the changes in the opening dates were aimed at ensuring the safety of learners during the election period and apologized for any inconveniences caused.

"I respect everybody. The way you see me, the courage that I have comes from God and Starehe Boys Centre. We are eagles and we fly high and we are not afraid,” he said.
