2022 KCSE results set to be released today

In Summary

  • 884,263 candidates wrote the exam. Among them 420,845  were female while 405,962 were male.
  • Schools re-open next week for a fresh term.

Results of the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary School Examination (KCSE) will be released today. 

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu will hold a press conference at the offices of the Kenya National Examinations Council, Denis Pritt, at 8am.

There were 884,263 candidates. 420,845 among them were female while 405,962 were male. This was a slight increase from the 826,807 candidates who wrote the exam in year 2021. 

Schools re-open next week for a fresh term.

The Education CS will address the controversial issue of placement, and transition to junior high among others.
