Elon Musk and Trump rally supporters with confidence on election night

On election night, tech billionaire Elon Musk, one of Donald Trump’s most significant backers, joined the former president at Mar-a-Lago, Florida.

Musk, the world’s richest man and owner of Tesla and X, has been one of Trump’s most active allies this election.

He was campaigning for him in battleground states and channelling over $119 million into his America PAC to support Trump’s presidential bid.

Earlier in the day, Musk posted a photo of himself voting in Texas, where several of his companies are based, before making his way to Mar-a-Lago.

Later, he shared “Game, set, and match” on X, signalling confidence as results began rolling in.

Just a short distance from Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s campaign hosted thousands of eager supporters at a Palm Beach Convention Center watch party.

As results trickled in, Florida was called for Trump, bringing a wave of cheers from the crowd.

Former congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard and long-time Trump ally Steve Witkoff were among those celebrating.

Gabbard described the atmosphere as “cautiously optimistic,” while Witkoff noted a “strong feeling of excitement and purpose” at the gathering.

Supporters like Blake Marnell, recognizable by his brick-patterned suit symbolizing Trump’s immigration stance, exuded optimism for a Republican victory.

Among others, businessman Sergio Ramirez voiced doubt about the Democratic contender’s popularity, stating he believed Trump’s win was inevitable unless “the Democrats cheated.”

Michael, another supporter sporting a “Blacks for Trump 2024” T-shirt, confidently claimed that Republicans “outnumbered” the Democrats in both early voting and present attendance.

At a neighbouring Hilton event, Iowa delegate Deborah Yanna likened the evening’s excitement to “Christmas morning,”

eager for a potential Trump victory she believed would make “America sparkle again.”

Meanwhile, in Washington, former Trump strategist Steve Bannon was holding his election watch party at the historic Willard Hotel.

A site tied to Trump’s 2020 election efforts. Bannon’s appearance followed his recent release from federal prison, adding intrigue to the night’s events.

On the Democratic side, Kamala Harris spent the evening at her alma mater, Howard University, in Washington, D.C.

With swing state results still pending, the nation watches as both Trump and Harris wait for a decision that could reshape the future of the United States.
