Kenya’s U-20 forward Andycole Omollo scored two tries as KCB Rugby beat Mwamba RFC 89-12 in the Enterprise Cup pre-quarter final match played at the KCB Sports club on Saturday December 14, 2024.
The victory saw KCB secure a spot in the Enterprise Cup quarterfinals. In other matches Catholic Monks stunned Nakuru RFC 16-15 at home with Nondescripts defeating Impala RFC 29-03.
At the ASK Showground Menengai Oilers thrashed Daystar Falcons 80-17 while Strathmore Leos suffered a 62-08 loss over Kenya Harlequin.
Three walkovers were witnessed where Kabras were awarded a 28-00 win after Kisumu RFC failed to show up. Blak Blad also did not travel to the coastal region to play against South coast Pirates as scheduled thus Pirates were awarded a 28-00 walkover.
Homeboyz RFC were also awarded a 28-00 walkover due to the unavailability of their opponents Mmust RFC.
The Enterprise Cup quarterfinals are set to be played on Saturday February 8, 2025 where defending champions Kabras will face off against Kenya Harlequin while KCB will battle it out with Catholic Monks.
Menengai Oilers are set to clash against Homeboyz RFC with South Coast Pirates playing against Nondescripts.
Enterprise cup quarters will enter the semis stage on March 8 2025 with the final being played on 22 April 2025.
This is the first time the cup competition will run alongside the Kenya Cup season unlike initially where it was being played after the end of the 15s season.
