Nikita Kering to be the face of Rihanna's Fenty beauty products

Kenyan musician Nikita Kering is the Fenty brand of beauty products brand ambassador.

Fenty is owned by multiple-award-winning American singer and business woman Rihanna.

"Kenya! It's happening, I'm so glad to be heading this campaign in Kenya while rocking my Fenty favs," says Kering in an Instagram post.

A star-studded cast graced the Fenty launch event at the Hub, Karen. Among those present were Sauti Sols band member Chimano, and fashion stylist Lady Mandy.

Alongside the Nairobi launch, Fenty also launched simultaneously in seven other African countries including Nigeria and South Africa.  

Rihanna started Fenty in 2017. She adopted her surname as the brand name and trademarked it. The brand has been a runaway success.

According to Cosmopolitan magazine, the brand is now worth $2.8 billion. Rihanna herself is worth an estimated $1.7 billion. In September 2020, Kenyan internet sensation Elsa Majimbo struck a deal with Rihanna to promote the Fenty brand.
