“Nilipata Grade 1” - Nasra Comedian's interviewee who thinks Uhuru is the capital of Kenya wins the internet with his happy-go-lucky attitude

Responses to random questions thrown to a random chap in the busy streets of Eastleigh, Nairobi, by comedienne Nasra Yusuf have won unusual plaudits from the vociferous crowd of Kenyans on Twitter.
In a video uploaded on February 10, Nasra asks a youthful man of Somali descent several questions nijue kama wewe ni m-sharp (to test your intelligence).
Nasra: Wewe ni m-sharp?
Respondent: Sindio (Yes)
Nasra: Ulipata Grade gani shule? (What did you score in school)
Respondent: Form Four?
Nasra: Yes, ulipata Grade gani?
Respondent: Grade 1
Downhill onwards
The 2:20 minute interview then goes hilariously downhill from there. The respondent- TikToker Ali Abaas Abdiqadir- gives Nasra responses that may prompt one to question whether he has ever sang “A for Apple, B for…in the four walls of a classroom.”
Question: What is the name of the highest mountain, Abdi?
“Hata mimi sijui,” he replies, smiling heartily. In his burgundy T-Shirt, spiky hair and the disposition of a budding footballer, Abdi comes across as a man unperturbed by the 'intelligence' demands of modern-day life.
Questions on the names of the five continents, capital city of Kenya, Somalia etc are met with the same who-cares hearty laugh. He thinks the capital of Kenya is Uhuru, or "hii jamaa..sijui."
It’s easy to tell that Abdiqadir is being sincere. Hata hio mimi sijui! is his refrain throughout the now trending video.
His world, he reveals to Nasra, revolves around two things: TikTok (and only his account) and the gym.
Question: Umesema hata hujui Deputy President wa Kenya ni nani? (You don't even know who Kenya's deputy president is?)
Abdi: Mimi sijui……hizi maneno mimi sipendi kwanza….naangalianga tu TikTok na naenda gym.
KoT cheers Abi's happy-go-lucky-attitude
A section of Kenyans on Twitter have applauded Abdi’s happy-go-lucky-attitude.
“He makes me think, hii knowledge yote tuko nayo niya kazi gani..jamaa ako stress-free,” says Duncan Dillion.
“If good vibes and In Shaa Allah was a person,” opinions another KoT.
“Is this guy for real,” poses Kamau Moses. “I need to be as unbothered as this guy.”
