Lady becomes internet sensation after taking her boda-boda rider on movie date

A Ugandan social media influencer has become the recent internet sensation after she reportedly invited her boda boda rider out on a date.

Lyndah Uwera, who hails from Kampala shared photos with the rider on Wednesday, February 22 after the movie date, causing a stir.

"I took my boda for a movie yesterday and he was so happy," Uwera said.

The post has since attracted more than 2.4 million views and thousands of comments.

"Acts of kindness will always be multiplied in return. Be assured that the security and safety you get won't be matched. Thanks for setting a standard," Emmanuel Wabwire, a Twitter user, said.

"Good people still exist. Love this for him. Few people experience genuine acts of kindness in their lifetime. God bless you," Stephen Nyabwa, another user, added.

One Viola Ishabiire said, "You guys be this close to Boda guys. Ahe. I respect my boda guy. Have helped him a lot, but i can't go this far. Something fishy here."

She brushed off critics who questioned whether her boyfriend allowed it, saying he accompanied them on the movie date and even took the photos.
