"Stick to your lane and run your race!" - Azziad Nasenya tells off critics

In Summary
- Azziad Nasenya's appointment to the Creatives Technical Committee has not sat well with a section of Kenyans who feel that she does not deserve the job.
- The committee will be responsible for proposals related to the collection and distribution of royalties, implementing the National Creatives Economy Plan, managing the National Creatives Awards, monetizing the creatives sector, upgrading arts facilities and infrastructure, and promoting Kenya as a top film-making destination.
TikToker Azziad Nasenya was among Kenyans who landed state jobs in the Kenya Kwanza Government.
Together with comedian Daniel 'Churchill' Ndambuki, musician Esther Akoth 'Akothee' and others, Azziad was nominated by Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba to the newly-established Creatives Technical Committee for a period of three years.
But Azziad's appointment has not sat well with a section of Kenyans who feel that she not only does not have the qualification but also does not deserve the job.
"I love and respect Azziad. However, I don’t know her competence. Beyond TikTok dancing, I don’t understand what serious thing she knows about creative economy or even identifying talent," Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai Tweeted after the appointment.
"Ababu Namwamba what exactly attracted you to this lady to get confused to use government platforms to impress her? Wacha kuangusha luhyas in gvt hii kitu ungefaulu tu bila hizi zote. When I call Ababu as an MP for serious engagement, he can't pick up calls but he is quick for this nonsense," Mumias East MP Peter Salasya joined the bandwagon in trolling CS Namwamba.
All along, Azziad had remained mum in all the comments on social media, but it was one Brenda Makena who caught her attention.
The reason why I don’t follow Azziad in any of her socials is because her content is over sexualized and there’s nothing to learn or any value added from anything she posts. Call me a hater, but it’s the truth. Sex sells.

Azziad decided to reply to Makena...
You do you boo. Don't ever let anyone force you to do what you don't like. Stick your lane and run your race🤗
