Model falls to his death from luxury high-rise apartment while taking a selfie

A 35-year-old male model died after falling off an apartment complex while reportedly taking a selfie.

Jeff Thomas’ death had initially been thought of as a suicide. But his agent Luli Batista of the Sovereign Talent Group in United Sates disputed the claim.

Jeff’s body was found at the bottom of a 57-floor luxury apartment complex in Miami's Brickell Avenue on Wednesday, March 8.

“I just can’t believe it’s true that he intentionally did this,” Batista is quoted as saying. “He may have fallen while he was taking a selfie.”

Batista said she had spoken to her client less than 24 hours before his death.

“He seemed thrilled and was proud of himself,” she said. “He was happy, motivated and excited for his next step just loving life. I am so stunned. He was such a beautiful and sweet boy.”

Soon after the death, Jeff’s brother Skylar Ray Thomas had suggested that he took his own life after struggling with “addiction and mental health challenges.”

The model was signed to the London-based agency AMCK and appeared in various runway shows, magazines and commercials.

He was also the founder and director of the contemporary art consultancy One Popsicle.
