Diana to Bahati: "Were it not for me you would not be having this house, cars and kids"

"Were it not for me, you would not be having four cars packet out there". This is what Diana Marua told her musician husband Kevin Mbuvi Kioko aka Bahati.

Diana and her husband were talking about the issue of family planning, and whether Bahati would agree to undergo a vasectomy. Speaking on her YouTube channel, Diana made it clear that she is the reason Bahati found a sense of direction in his life.

"After everything that I have done for you, can I tell you something? Do you know were it not for me, you would not be having this house? Were it not for me, you would not be having those kids. Were it not for me, you would not be having four cars packed out here," Diana told Bahati.

Bahati was, however, quick to remind his wife that it is God who made sure of his success. “Correction…were it not for God,” said Bahati, with Diana interjecting, “The glory of God is in me, God works in me…you’d still be suffering with the people you’d be choosing.”

While outrightly making it clear that he will not undergo the surgery, Bahati instead challenged Diana to undergo a tubal ligation herself, to prove that she really loves him. This did not go well with Diana, who insisted that there are numerous ways of proving her love for Bahati, and cutting off her fallopian tubes is not one of them.

“So you want me to tie my womb yet you can go out there and sire kids left right and centre?” she posed.

'That was sweet'

During the YouTube session, Diana and Bahati recalled how they met at a video shoot where the former was a vixen.

According to Diana, Bahati was so persistent.

“We met while shooting a music video and although guys were hitting on me, I was not interested. I was fresh from heartbreak but a few weeks later Bahati drove from Ruaka to Syokimau to see me. That was sweet,” she said.
