Bensoul's special message to his daughter; reveals role of his lover in newly-launched album

Musician Bensoul (real name Benson Mutua Muia) has revealed that his daughter is always in mind when he is making music.

Speaking during TV47's entertainment show Bomba La Sanaa, Bensoul sent out a special message to his daughter Tiffany Mutua.

"The song 'Melody' is a message to my daughter to tell her she is the main melody playing in my head. Music is always playing in my head but she is always on my mind. She deserves the world. She is the child of a superstar," the Sol Generation signee said.

He released his first album dubbed 'The Lion of Suda' on Friday, April 20 amid exit from the Sauti Sol-owned record label.

It comprises of 12 tracks featuring superstars such as Xenia, H Art the Band, Okello Max, AfroNautiq and so on.

Bensoul revealed his new lover, Claudia Naisabwa, participated in production of his new album.

"She helped me write "Navutishwa" and "Mida ya 420". For the other songs I'd just let her give her opinion," he added.

In a recent interview, Sauti Sol's Bien Aime said Bensoul would exit the record label in 2024, while the "Pombe Sigara" hitmaker Nviiri The Storyteller would leave in 2025.

"They still have time with our record label. They are our babies and we are working on their individual albums before the end of the year," Bien added.
