Eric Omondi’s girlfriend Lynne reveals why she left him: “For my peace and my daughter”

Eric Omondi is officially a single man again.

His long-time partner, Lynne Njihia, took to Instagram to share that their relationship has come to an end.

This is just weeks after exchanging sweet birthday messages online.

In a heartfelt post, Lynne revealed the decision wasn’t easy but was necessary for her well-being and that of their daughter, Kyla.

“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Eric Omondi.

It wasn’t easy, but it’s what’s best for my peace, growth, and the future I want for myself and my daughter,” she wrote.

Not long after, Lynne posted a reel lip-syncing to JoJo’s breakup anthem “

Too Little Too Late”—a quiet but powerful hint at the emotional storm behind her calm words.

The announcement came as a shock to many, especially since just days earlier, Eric had poured out his heart in a touching birthday message to her:

“Happy Birthday to the love of my life… the mother of my child.

May all your dreams come true, baby. Mimi and Kyla are here cheering you on. We LOVE YOU so much.”

Lynne had also shown Eric some love on his birthday just a month ago, posting a romantic reel with the caption:

“Kyla and I are the luckiest people in the world. You mean so much to me, baby. You’re my everything.”

The two first met in 2020 when Lynne auditioned for one of Eric’s comedy skits.

Their connection quickly grew from workmates to soulmates.

Despite their 19-year age difference, Lynne once said their bond was based on trust and true friendship.

“Love is love. Haina limit, haina gender, haina age,” she once shared.

News of the breakup left fans torn.

While many sent messages of love and support, others questioned whether the split was real or just another publicity stunt.

Some even speculated a surprise baby announcement might be on the way.

As of now, Eric has remained silent on the matter.

Sometimes, even the strongest love stories come to an end not because love wasn’t there, but because peace had to come first.
