Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag says he has no regrets over his treatment of the embattled England winger Jadon Sancho, who has been frozen out of the first team since September.
Sancho criticized Ten Hag on social media, accusing his manager of being a liar for comments made regarding his exclusion from United’s 3-1 loss to Arsenal on September 3, 2023, and refused to apologize.
“Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people to say things that are completely untrue. I have conducted myself in training very well this week,” Sancho stated in a now-deleted tweet.

The winger has since been excluded from the first team, denied access to first-team facilities, and removed from the team’s WhatsApp group as his exile at Old Trafford continues.
In an interview with United We Stand, Ten Hag was clear about Sancho’s situation, insisting that he has no regrets about how he has treated the Manchester City academy graduate.
“No, I wouldn’t act differently,” Ten Hag replied when asked about his treatment of the winger, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
Jadon Sancho was indiscipline at Borussia Dortmund
Sancho faced disciplinary issues during his tenure at his former club Borussia Dortmund, which included staying up late playing video games.
According to Bild, one club linked with Sancho is his former team, Dortmund, with whom he achieved significant success between 2017 and 2021.

However, Dortmund has reservations about bringing him back to the club due to concerns about his off-field activities during his previous stint in Germany.
Their primary worry is that Sancho reportedly didn’t get sufficient sleep at night due to his late-night video gaming and computer use as well as coming late to training.
