Euro 2024 ,The European Championship will take place for the 17th time since its inception

Germany will serving as the host nation for the 2024 edition which is set to be played on 14 June 2024 – Sun, 14 July 2024.

The competition gives room to 24 team to participate ,The qualification process kick started in March of this year and Some of the top teams in the world wanting to attend.

There are 20 automatic qualifiers, with two teams progressing from each qualification group.

Germany by virtue of being hosts have already qualified for the tournament. Other teams that have also earned a spot for the European show piece include:

Belgium head to Euro 2024

The Belgians cruised through group F to become the first team to book a slot at Euro 2024.

France

The 2018 world cup champions beat the likes of Netherlands Greece and the Republic of Ireland in group B to earn a slot

Portugal

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal confirmed the Euro 2024 spot after beating every team in Group J, leaving Slovakia, Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Spain

Spain ,three-time European champions sailed through Group A, overcoming the likes of Scotland and Erling Haaland’s Norway.

They are on a mission to make up for a barren few years, which has seen them fail to win a major tournament since 2012

Scotland 

Scotland makes their fourth appearance in the tournament thanks to an impressive qualification campaign which saw them defeat Spain, Norway, Georgia and Cyprus.

Turkey 

Turkey responded admirably after losing to Croatia early in the group round at home, with Cenk Tosun, Arda Guler, and Kerem Akturkoglu turning in outstanding performances that helped Turkey advance to Germany.

The hosts qualify automatically and the remaining three places are decided by play-offs, with the best-placed teams from the 2022-23 UEFA Nations League, who have not automatically qualified, contesting those.
