Businessman Khalif Kairo has publicly expressed his longing for his former girlfriend, Cera Imani, following their recent breakup.

Their relationship, which garnered significant public attention, faced criticism from figures like Andrew Kibe and Amerix, who predicted its downfall due to its public exposure.

In an an interview with TV47’s Dr Ofweneke Tonight show on Wednesday, July 3, Kairo acknowledged his role in hastening their separation. He admitted that Cera was not swayed by material wealth alone, emphasizing her principled nature and stating, “Not all women are captivated by material things and money.”

“You know it is not all girls who are obsessed and enticed by these material things and money. Cera is a very principled lady, you know I know her so she is not someone who is with you because of the money or anything. Money also wouldn’t be a course for breakup,” he stated.

Reflecting on the reasons behind their breakup, Kairo attributed it partly to his busy schedule as a businessman. He noted that his focus on business sometimes led to neglecting the emotional aspects of their relationship, which required a more sensitive approach.

”There are issues that make people breakup…I think the problem with people like me, us businessmen some of us we become so engrossed with businesses that we forget to nurture and foster the relationship and we deal with things in very logical and methodical ways as opposed to emotional. And the way we’re used to dealing with business is how we deal with other things but women are emotional and sometimes it requires you to step out of your zone and try and be a little bit emotional which at times for some of us becomes a problem.”

Despite the challenges, Kairo affirmed the sincerity of his feelings for Cera, emphasizing that their love was genuine and not driven by publicity-seeking motives.

When asked by Dr. Ofweneke what he missed most about Cera, Kairo mentioned companionship and the enjoyable dynamic of dating a content creator, where they could support each other’s creative endeavors.

As for their future together, the status of their relationship remains uncertain, with neither confirming whether reconciliation is on the horizon.
