The mother of one is now set to pocket a cool $30,000 (Ksh4,364,327), the prestigious prize money reserved for Diamond Trophy winners at this two-day spectacle.

In this fiercely competitive arena, the winners take home a princely sum of $30,000, followed by $12,000 (Ksh1,745,731) for the runner-up, while others secure $7,000 (Ksh1,018,343), $4,000 (Ksh581,910), $2,500 (Ksh363,693), $2,000 (Ksh290,955), $1,500 (Ksh218,216), and $1,000 (Ksh145,477).

However, Faith Kipyegon’s remarkable feats don’t stop there. She’s part of an exclusive club set to earn an additional $20,000 (Ksh2,909,551) for their stellar performances throughout this Diamond League season.

As per Diamond League regulations, a whopping $200,000 (Ksh29,095,517) is set aside for the most consistent performers who share this bounty at season’s end.

These “Most Consistent Athletes,” numbering ten in total, one male and one female in each of the five disciplines—sprints, hurdles, distance, jumps, and throws—will revel in their impressive achievements.

With four Diamond League victories in Doha, Florence, Paris, and Monaco, coupled with her triumphant performance in Eugene, Faith Kipyegon’s place in the ‘Most Consistent Athletes’ category is virtually assured. Her case is further fortified by the incredible feat of breaking three world records in three different races this season.

This extraordinary accolade ensures she’ll amass a staggering total of $50,000 (Ksh7,273,879) from her electrifying performance in Eugene—a remarkable addition to her burgeoning bank balance, fueled by prize money, government rewards, and lucrative endorsements.
