At 29 years old Faith Kipyegon is in Contention to become the greatest Female athlete of all time winning everything in her professional career, earning her hundreds of thousands of dollars along the way.

This is no exception from yesterday’s 1500-meter final race, where the World Champion took home $70,000 which translates to 10,118,500.00 Kenyan Shilling for winning gold.

Prize money is key in major athletics completions such as the Diamond League circuit and the ongoing World Athletics championships, which means the participants have more to look up to other than bragging rights and shiny medals and trophies.

However, the Diamond League competition is an invite-only affair, only four legs of the competition are remaining before the close of the year.
