The family of the late Uasin Gishu businessman Jackson Kibor who died in March 2022 is now considering an out-of-court settlement for his KSh16 billion estate.
This comes after two forensic analyses on the will left behind gave conflicting results. While the forensic analysis of a private investigator affirmed that the will was genuine, one done by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) experts said the will was indeed forged.
According to the late Kibor’s daughter, Loise Kibor, the family had resolved to use mediation as a solution for the vast estate after a two-year battle in courts, something that was against their fathers wish.
Twenty-seven (27) children of the Kibor’s two wives had ganged up against his youngest wife Eunita Kibor, claiming that the will she presented was questionable and did not reflect the wishes of their late father.
