Michelle Alozie of the Nigerian women’s national football team has been warned by her fans after being seen with music star David Adedeji Adeleke, also known as Davido.
The Super Falcons’ standout performance at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which was co-hosted by New Zealand and Australia and ultimately won by Spain, garnered much admiration.
Alozie, a pivotal figure for Nigeria in the global tournament, particularly caught the attention of fans. As a defender, she demonstrated her reliability to head coach Randy Waldrum, aiding the Super Falcons in progressing to the last 16.
Consequently, she endeared herself to the masses, although their journey ended with a post-match penalty shootout loss to England, following a goalless draw in both regulation and extra time.
The incident that brought her even more recognition was when Chelsea’s Lauren James, who was subsequently sent off, stepped on her behind, generating a flood of discussions on social media.
The 26-year-old athlete is currently in the United States of America, where she represents Houston Dash FC, a team based in Houston, Texas.
Despite her busy schedule, Alozie managed to connect with Afrobeats sensation Davido and even presented him with her Super Falcons jersey, featuring her squad number 22.
Sharing this interaction with her followers and fans on social media prompted a variety of reactions, with many expressing concerns about her association with the singer.
Why did fans caution Alozie about Davido?
Those who issued the warnings regarding Davido claim that the singer has a track record of fathering children with multiple women. According to their sentiments, they hope to prevent such a situation from befalling Alozie.
“I reject any spirit of Baby Mama on you sweetheart, it’s not your portion,” cautioned Anumba Chigozie, an X user.
“Alozie, I beg you, oh. The Olympics are next year, you know. I don’t want to hear that you’re unavailable,” remarked Lekebiz.
“Baby number 22 on the way?” speculated Ozara Logy as Hymax Official advised, “Be careful.”
As of the time of writing this story, Davido, who is set to turn 31 on November 20, 2023, had five known women as the mothers of his children.
These women are Sophia Momodu, Ayotomide Labinjo, Larissa London, Amanda, and Chioma Rowland, the latter of whom is now his wife.
