Football Kenya Federation (FKF) is hosting an advanced two-day media relations workshop for media managers from the FKF Women’s Premier League and Women’s National Super League clubs, kicking off today at MYSA Komarock.
The workshop aims to build on the first edition held in October 2023. This second edition will have the same cohort of participants who attended the inaugural workshop, with 25 participants set to benefit.
This deliberate move ensures continuity and progression, facilitating the integration of new learnings while reinforcing existing knowledge to maximize the program’s impact.
The workshop will provide advanced knowledge in various aspects of digital media strategy, focusing on communications and media management, strategic planning, Artificial Intelligence in social media management, and marketing and commercialization.
Gayleen Akinyi, communications officer of Moving the Goal Posts, expressed her excitement about the modules offered and their potential impact on their organization.
She stated, “What I’m excited about now is the strategic planning (module) and implementation part of it. I want to really learn that and take it back to the club and organization at large to see how it will better improve the lives of the girls.”
The workshop is set to conclude tomorrow, Friday, May 24, 2024.
