FKF successfully holds a special general meeting, all set for elections

Before the upcoming elections, the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) successfully held its Special General Meeting (SGM) on Saturday, August 24, 2024.

The meeting saw the attendance of 89 delegates, including representatives from the 45 FKF Branches, 18 FKF Premier League clubs, 10 FKF National Super League clubs, 3 FKF Women Premier League clubs, 2 FKF Women National Super League clubs, and 10 FKF Division One League clubs.

The primary agenda of the SGM included the adoption of decisions made by the National Executive Committee, the approval of the newly constituted Electoral Board, and the adoption of the 2019/2020 Electoral Code.

During the meeting, members voted in favour of the Electoral Board, which consists of Hesbon Owilla, James Waindi, Alfred Ngang’a, Dan Mule, and Marceline Sande. Standby members Farida Lucia Juma and Robert Akumu Asembo were also approved.

The delegates further voted to adopt the amended Electoral Code, which will govern the upcoming elections.

Following the SGM, the Electoral Board has been officially mandated to oversee and conduct the elections.
