The Football Kenya Federation FKF Women’s Cup makes a comeback this weekend starting March 23-24 with all eight matches on the cards.
The round of 16 clashes will be played across different venues in the country.
In the group stage of the tournament , defending champions Ulinzi Starlets beat TUK Ravens to seal a knock out stage spot while Kenya Police Bullets secured their spot after beating Embu Queens.
KISPED on the other hand advanced to the next stage by winning a penalty shootout against Makolanders after the match ended in a 2-2 draw at regular time.
Meanwhile, Nakuru City Queens, Royal Starlets and Milima Queens also advanced to the round of 16.
FKF Women’s Cup round of 16 fixtures
On Saturday, 23 March, KISPED Queens will lock horns against Kenya Police Bullets at Mamboleo Stadium while Kisiwa Starlets take on FKF WPL defending champions Vihiga Queens at Sudi Stadium.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, 24 March a triple header is set to unfold at Ruaraka grounds. Among these matches two FKF WPL sides Bungoma Queens and Kibera Soccer Ladies will face off against Equity Queens and Acakoro Ladies respectively while the earliest kick-off match on the day will feature Kangemi Ladies against Kayole Starlet.
In other matches, Vickers Queens will go head-to-head with Zetech Sparks while Royal Starlets play against defending cup champions Ulinzi Starlets at Ndura Sports Complex.
Winners of these matches will qualify for the quarter-finals scheduled for April 20-21, 2024.
