The FKF Women’s Cup gears up for the semifinal stage, set to unfold on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Dandora Stadium.
The action-packed double-header commences with the clash between Zetech Sparks and Kibera Soccer Ladies at 11 a.m. Zetech Sparks advanced to the semis by triumphing over Kisiwa Starlets, while Kibera Soccer beat fellow FKF Women’s Premier League side, Bungoma Queens, to secure their spot.
This marks Zetech Sparks’ inaugural appearance in the semifinals, while this will be Kibera Soccer’s second consecutive appearance. They will be looking to better their third-place finish from last season.
In the other semifinal, defending champions Ulinzi Starlets face off against debutants Kenya Police Bullets in a forces derby. Bullets earned their spot by defeating Kangemi Ladies, while Ulinzi emerged victorious against Milima Queens.
Kenya Police Bullets make their maiden appearance in the cup tournament, exhibiting a great run thus far. On the other hand, Ulinzi Starlets seek to clinch their fourth consecutive final spot.
The ultimate showdown is slated for Sunday, June 16, 2024.
