FKFWPL: Kenya Police Bullets back in action as Vihiga Queens host Kibera in week 18 action

The FKF Women Premier League (FKFWPL) enters a critical juncture this weekend with a lineup of crucial fixtures that could significantly impact the title race.

Kenya Police Bullets FC are back in action after missing a match last weekend, while all eyes will be on the highly anticipated clash between Vihiga Queens and league leaders Kibera Soccer Women FC.

The weekend kicks off with two intriguing matches on Saturday, March 22, 2025. First up, at noon, Bungoma Queens FC will host Zetech Sparks FC at the National Polytechnic in Bungoma. Both teams are eager to secure vital points as they strive to improve their standings.

At the Trinity Complex in Kikopey, Trinity Starlets FC will face off against Ulinzi Starlets FC in what promises to be a fiercely competitive encounter.

Later in the day, at 1:00 PM, Kenya Police Bullets FC will make their long-awaited return to the pitch. After missing last weekend’s action due to Wadadia FC’s relegation, the Bullets are determined to make a statement against Mombasa Olympic FC at Makande Primary School in Mombasa.

Currently sitting second in the league with 33 points, a victory is crucial for them as they aim to close the gap on leaders Kibera Soccer Women, who sit at 37 points.

The weekend culminates on Sunday, March 30, 2025 with the match that could define the title race: Vihiga Queens FC versus Kibera Soccer Women FC. Scheduled for 1:00 PM at Moi Stadium in Kisumu, this encounter is not just another game; it’s a potential turning point in the league.

Kibera Soccer Women, leading with 37 points, will be looking to extend their advantage. In contrast, third-placed Vihiga Queens, currently on 33 points, are hungry for a win that could shake up the standings and keep their title hopes alive.

Meanwhile, the match between Kisped Queens and Bunyore Starlets has been postponed while Kisumu All Starlets will not be in action this weekend.
