Former Huruma Ward MCA in Uasin Gishu County has been found dead in her home in Eldoret.
Lucy Chomba was found dead at her home in West Indies Estate, in the outskirts of Eldoret town.
Confirming the incident, Uasin Gishu Police Commander Ben Mwanthi said that all indications point to a natural death, but they are waiting on a postmortem to be done on the body.
“So far, hakuna indication ya murder. Pengine baada ya postmortem tutapata ukweli kabisa,” the police boss told Franklin Wallah.
Lucy was elected as MCA in a by-election following the death of her husband, the late Peter Chomba in 2020.
