“To an extension, (SIC) it means the committee I was working with was part of this theft. He claims to have documents that can prove these allegations, we ask him to submit the same to DCI or my lawyers by tomorrow before they serve him with a demand letter, “rattled an enraged Washiali.

Washiali also accused Salasya of shelving unfinished projects that his (Washiali) government began.

“The ongoing projects including laboratories, he was supposed to add more money for the completion. He stopped a project that was at the centre of our hearts, the Eluche CDF sponsored program. He has sent about 150 top students to the streets, that’s the only item that makes me regret why I did not defend my seat,” alleged Washiali.
