The much-anticipated Furaha City Festival faced an unexpected setback when Tanzanian star Diamond Platnumz failed to perform as scheduled.
Organizers expressed deep regret over the incident, attributing the disruption to challenges stemming from the artiste’s team.
In a statement released a few minutes ago, the festival organizers revealed that extensive efforts were made to accommodate Diamond and his team, ensuring a seamless experience for all involved.
However, they described the team’s demands and behavior as overbearing and unnecessary.
“Despite our best efforts, their conduct made it impossible to proceed as planned,” the statement read.
While acknowledging a minor security issue involving another artiste, ( without mentioning Willy Paul’s name)
The festival organizers assured fans that it was swiftly resolved to maintain safety and professionalism.
Further, they emphasized their commitment to treating all artists equally and upholding high standards.
Despite the absence of Diamond Platnumz, the festival delivered a stellar lineup of performances.
Kenyan artists shone brightly, showcasing their impeccable talent, energy, and professionalism.
Wasafi stars Zuchu and Rayvanny also gave electrifying performances, earning praise for their dedication to entertaining the audience.
“We are incredibly proud of the remarkable performances delivered by all other artists. Their energy and professionalism ensured the audience had an unforgettable experience,” Furaha City organisers stated.
