Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is expected to attend the burial of Bishop Allan Kiuna today (Wednesday, July 17).
Gachagua is among several dignitaries who will attend the send-off of the departed bishop at JCC Paradise, Thindigua, Kiambu County.
A memorial service for the late bishop was held on Monday, July 15 at Faith Evangelistic Ministry Family Church in Karen, Nairobi.
Notable figures including First Lady Rachel Ruto and Second Lady Pastor Dorcas Rigathi attended the service.
Bishop Kiuna, 57, died on July 9 after a long battle with cancer.
In December 2023, Bishop Kiuna, the founder of Jubilee Christian Church (JCC), disclosed that he had stayed for a year in the United States receiving cancer treatment.
“I am absolutely cancer-free to the glory of God,” Bishop Kiuna shared his testimony during a thanksgiving ceremony at his church in Nairobi.
