Georgina Njenga opens up about breakup with Baha: “Part of me regrets leaving”

Content creator Georgina Njenga has shared her thoughts on her split from ex-boyfriend and father of her child, Tyler Mbaya, popularly known as Baha.

While she stands by her decision to leave, she admitted that the dating scene has been tougher than she expected, making her feel a slight sense of regret.

No infidelity,toxic traits

Speaking on a podcast with Morin Actress, Georgina made it clear that infidelity was not the reason for their breakup.

Instead, she pointed to certain behavioral traits in Baha that she feared could turn toxic over time.

Although they had their share of fights, she now reflects on how she might have handled some situations differently.

“To be honest, a small part of me regrets leaving because the dating world is tough, but it’s like 2%,” she shared.

However, she firmly ruled out the possibility of reconciliation, saying their issues were too deep to fix.

Despite the breakup, what hurt her the most was not the end of their romance, but the breaking of their family.

Having grown up without a father, she struggled with the thought of her daughter experiencing the same.

Co-Parenting made easier by her Mom

While their relationship did not work out, Georgina acknowledged that co-parenting has improved over time.

She credited her mother for playing a key role in raising their daughter and facilitating communication between her and Baha.

“Right now, things are okay. I can’t even complain,” she said,

Explaining that since Baha mostly speaks to her mother, there is less need for direct communication between them.

Georgina and Baha were once one of Kenya’s most admired young couples, but they parted ways in 2023, just months after welcoming their daughter.

Although their love story ended, their journey as co-parents continues, with both focused on doing what’s best for their child.
