In a surprising turn of events, the notorious Nigerian cyber fraudster, Hushpuppi, has hit headlines after throwing a party while in prison.
The fraudster currently incarcerated in the US, took a moment to commemorate the birthday of popular Nigerian blogger Tunde Ednut.
Hushpuppi and Ednut have seemingly been friends and Hushpuppi decided to commemorate his friend’s birthday despite being in prison.
Tunde Ednut, whose real name is Tunde Adekunle, celebrated his 38th birthday on January 20, 2024.
In attendance were his fans, colleagues, and supporters expressing their well-wishes for him.

Known for the extravagant celebrations of his birthdays, Ednut’s special day reached unexpected places this year.
The extravagance in Ednut’s party this year extended to a prison cell in America where Hushpuppi is serving time his time for fraud.
Despite the circumstances, Hushpuppi’s gesture was captured in a video posted by Ednut.
The video was later deleted by Ednut but was widely circulated on social media enlisting a range of comments and views online.
In addition, in the footage, Hushpuppi could be heard in the background, showcasing a spread of prison food arranged for the celebration.

The serving setup included rice served in different bowls, and someone using a small plastic to portion out pasta from a nylon bag into plates.
The fraudster explained that he was marking Tunde Ednut’s birthday in his way, complete with pasta, rice, and cold drinks.
He stated “We are also celebrating in our little way. Jollof loading, pasta is already here as you can see.”
The unexpected and unconventional birthday tribute from Hushpuppi added a unique twist to Tunde Ednut’s celebration for the day.
The video of the celebration drew attention on social media for its unusual setting and circumstances.
