Goliath Wa Bungoma reveals that he was jailed for a month after losing a boda boda that he bought on loan.

“I went to jail for a month after I lost a boda boda I took out on a loan.” Goliath said.

In an interview with Dr Ofweneke on TV47, the 29-year-old giant says he is happy to find fitting clothes and shoes. He sadly described how it has been a struggle due to his height and body size.

“Man I now have shoes, this is the first time I have sneakers worn with socks also. See how good I look. The shoe size is fifty, sijui.. I just got them today, I have always been wearing akala’s. Today is my first day to wear shoes plus socks. Mungu ni mwema. ” He happily stated.

The father of three says women now find him attractive as opposed to before over his newfound fame “They are really interested in me. Before they disregarded me, kama yani si mtu, lakini sasa ndio nimekuwa mtu mzuri, saa hii wananitafuta.” He said.

Goliath also spoke about the bad side of fame and how it can destroy his marriage.

“They are in my DMs. They tell me they are single and searching, but for me, it depends how you hold yourself. I play it cool. I have a wife, and if you let them, they can destroy your marriage. I don’t want another wife. I also have enough children. Wacha nibaki na huyo.” he said laughing.

In the interview, he happily mentioned his big homecoming that happened in Bungoma.

“When I went home, I was received like a King. I felt so good. I was received like a President, tangu nizaliwe sijawahi pelekwa hivo. ” Goliath said.

He dropped out of school in class four after lacking school fees.

“After class four I got a job digging, then I became a charcoal trader, alafu nikaenda kusaidia kuchunga watu ngomba, hivo hivo tu.” He stated.

He started the boda boda business and was unfortunately arrested after losing the bike. While in jail, he prayed a lot about his situation.

” When I was in jail, I prayed alot to God. I saw it as a lesson learnt to do better. I used to pray that this case would be resolved. It bothered me alot that it may affect my parents. Mungu alikuja akajibu na tuka maliza hio kesi. Siku fungwa tena Ikaisha hivo na kampuni tena mungu akanifungulia njia, nikaendelea na maisha. After settling after jail, I came to Nairobi, maisha ikakuwa ngumu”

Goliath is super proud of the far he has come and says giving up is not an option.
