Governor Sakaja meets Azimio MCAs

Nairobi Governor Sakaja Johnson on Monday September 9, 2024 held a meeting with elected Azimio Members of County Assembly in Nairobi at his office in Riverside.

The governor convened the meeting with entire Azimio MCA affiliates and special elects to set and deliberate on development plans across all 85 wards in the county for the fiscal year 2024/25.

He assured the ward representatives drawn from Azimio political wing to deliver services to city residents through set development plans.

“I believe with the set development plan, we will be able to deliver on our promises to the people of Nairobi.

“My work is to serve all and build a team that serves our people, we made commitments, and we must deliver on them. I commit to offer my support to make Nairobi work, ” said Governor Sakaja.

“My administration will work for all people of Nairobi, regardless of political leaning,” he added.

The Nairobi governor also noted that he is committed to reaching out to all the elected leaders in Nairobi to ensure their cooperation and synergy in service delivery to residents.

This is after Sakaja held a meeting with Kenya Kwanza allied ward representatives earlier in the month.

At that time, he acknowledged the help he had received from UDA MCAs despite being the minority in the county assembly.
