Gov’t urged to install electricity, computers in each school in CBE implementation

The government has been asked to make sure each school has electricity and computers to empower learners with digital learning a key component of CBC.

Speaking in Machakos during an ECDE teachers training programme which brought together over 500 teachers from 4 sub-counties, Nichodemus Kimuli said lack of computers and electricity in many local school is a big challenge towards implementing CBC curriculum.

Kimuli now wants the National Government to invest more on modern infrastructures in schools, aimed at CBC digitization in the country.

Today, over 500 ECDE teachers from Kalama, Machakos, Kathiani and Mavoko sub-counties were impacted with digital knowledge in parentship with the county government and Slovakaid organisation.
