Parents and neighbours of a Grade Three boy in Eastleigh, Nairobi County are mourning the loss of the child who fell to his death while playing.
The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday, April 4 as the boy played along the balcony with his friends in the afternoon.
Apparently, the eight-year-old left his parents in the house and went up to the eight floor of their apartment to play with his friends.
He unfortunately slid and fell head-first from the balcony.
The Grade Three pupil was rushed to a nearby private hospital but pronounced dead on arrival.
His body was transferred to the mortuary pending an autopsy. Police have also begun investigations into the tragic incident.
