England striker Harry Kane scored his first hat-trick in Bayern Munich colours and provided a pair of assists, as the Bavarians extended their unbeaten start to the Bundesliga season.
Kane’s first goal came as he reacted swiftly to capitalize on a loose ball inside the Bochum penalty area during the first half. He followed this up by confidently converting a penalty after halftime.
In the 88th minute, he completed his hat-trick by skillfully finishing a pass from Noussair Mazraoui.
Kane also showcased his playmaking abilities by delivering pinpoint passes to set up goals for Leroy Sane and the young talent Mathys Tel.
In addition to Kane’s contributions, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Matthijs de Ligt added to Bayern Munich’s goal tally.
Kane, who had previously netted a crucial goal in Bayern’s 4-3 Champions League triumph over Manchester United earlier in the week, has now scored an impressive seven goals in just five Bundesliga matches this season.
This remarkable hat-trick on Saturday marked Kane’s first in domestic league competition since December 2017, when he achieved consecutive trebles for Tottenham against Burnley and Southampton.

Under the guidance of manager Thomas Tuchel, Bayern Munich currently boasts an impressive record of four wins and one draw in their opening five matches, placing them atop the league table with 13 points.
Meanwhile, Bochum struggled to contain Bayern’s attacking prowess, consistently conceding goals, and remain in search of their first victory of the season.
Harry Kane aims dig at former club Tottenham
A fortnight ago while on international duty, Kane subtly criticized his former team Tottenham Hotspur questioning the mentality at the North London club weeks after joining Bayern Munich.
Kane claimed that at Tottenham, it wasn’t considered a disaster if they went a few games without a win, a contrast to Bayern Munich’s relentless pursuit of victory.
“We wanted to win at Spurs, but if you went a couple of games without winning it wasn’t a disaster. At Bayern you have to win every game,” he said.
