A light shoulder brush was witnessed between Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane and Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham during a penalty-taking moment.
Jude Bellingham attempted to put Harry Kane off before he scored a penalty in Bayern Munich’s 2-2 draw against Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Real Madrid star Bellingham cheekily tried to have a word in Kane’s ear just before his England team mate was about to step up to take his spot kick.
But Kane remained focused and slotted home the goal before Vinicius Junior grabbed a late leveller to keep the Champions League semi final tie all square ahead of next week’s return leg in the Bernabeu.
Speaking to TNT Sports full-time, the Bayern forward said: “I don’t know what he was saying. I saw him mumbling something. Once I’m in that moment, I’m in my zone, trying to block everyone out. I’m sure he was saying something to try to put me off.”
“This is the Champions League semi-final. We expected a tough game. Real are one of the best teams in Europe who can punish you with one or two actions. All to play for next week. We know we can have chances next week we just have to take them.
”We started on the front foot. Their goal came against the run of play. We struggled to play our game. Second half we played with a higher intensity. We deserved our two goals, shame we couldn’t get a third.
Thomas Tuchel’s side will be back in action on Saturday in the Bundesliga as they take on VFB Stuttgart in an away fixture. Bellingham and Madrid, meanwhile, face Cadiz this weekend before the pair reconvene for the second leg next Wednesday.
