Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has won the Premier League Player of the Month award for November.
Maguire has experienced a revival in form this season at Manchester United, bouncing back after being written off under Erik ten Hag.
When a move to West Ham fell through in the summer, the former Leicester City and Hull City man stayed at Old Trafford and has reclaimed his place in the team.
After losing his spot and captaincy last season, many had written off the 30-year-old, but he has proven his worth this season.
Ten Hag emphasized that Maguire provides more tactical balance than World Cup winner Raphaël Varane, especially after Lisandro Martínez’s injury.
Maguire’s outstanding performances in November, where he played every minute in matches against Fulham, Luton, and Everton without conceding a goal, earned him the prestigious Player of the Month award.
Although Jeremy Doku, Anthony Gordon, Tomas Kaminski, Raheem Sterling, and Marcus Tavernier were also nominated for the accolade, the Red Devils man was voted for by the fans.
Erik ten Hag claims Man United fans have never booed Harry Maguire
In October 2023, ten Hag denied claims that the club’s fans had booed immediate former captain Harry Maguire following a difficult spell on the pitch.
Speaking to the press before their 2-1win at Sheffield United, the Dutch manager said the fans have been very supportive and he has never heard them booing the England international.

“I haven’t heard it, not in England. I think all of the fans were supportive of us in the game against Brentford,” Ten Hag said.
