Arsenal took advantage against Liverpool and Manchester City in the 2023/24 Premier League title race on Tuesday, April 23 night.
Kai Havertz and Ben White both scored twice, while Leandro Trossaed also saw the net in the 5-0 thrashing of Chelsea at a fully-packed Emirates Stadium.
This was Arsenal’s second win in four days, ensuring that Mikel Arteta’s men go three points clear of second-placed Liverpool and four ahead of Man City – although Pep Guardiola’s men have played two fewer games.
Liverpool plays away at Everton on Wednesday while Man City take on visiting Brighton the day after.
But Arsenal will not be sitting on their laurels as a trip to fierce rivals Tottenham beckons on Sunday.
