Kenyan artist cum business lady Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, shared her definition of heartbreak amid breakup rumors.
Akothee got married to a foreign national Denis Schweizer alias Omosh in April this year.
Over the past couple of weeks, however, rumors have been getting louder about her possible breakup with Omosh.
“Why do they think we have broken up? I have not said we have broken up and they have already started calling me Ojingo the 8th,” the mother of five stated a few days ago on Instagram.
Akothee defines what heartbreak is for single mothers
Today (Tuesday, October 10), Akothee offered unsolicited advice on heartbreaks.
“Being a single mother taught me how to differentiate between disappointments and heartbreaks. We no longer get heartbroken kwani how many hearts do you have wewe?” she stated.
Akothee affirmed that “Heartbreaks ni za teenagers siku hizi ni na heart attacks.”
The mother of five recalled raising three children on her own, which she termed as the real heartbreak, not that of divorcing a partner.
“Single mothers know what a heartbreak is. Umewahi kuwachwa na watoto watatu kwa mataa, huna kazi, Wala masomo?
“(Single mothers know what heartbreak is. Have you ever been left with three children without a job or education?)” Akothee posed.
“I know what I want in life”
The ‘Sweet Love’ hitmaker alluded therefore that her adventurous life in her 40s was justified.
“Sorry If you see me do things I was supposed to do when I was 20s, Just remember that I spent All my childhood being a full-time jobless parent.
“Stepping up and being both father and mother to my 3 daughters, spent all my 30s looking for money, and now in my 40s, I am just picking up and starting life fresh,” Akothee explained.
Despite numerous questions about her bizarre love life, the established businesslady maintained that she was in control of everything around her life.
“Sweetheart, I am 20 by heart and body with the mind of a 40 year good looking mature intelligent woman who knows exactly what she wants in life.”
